Last Saturday, Chef Marina Lessa came through with a pop-up kitchen that delivered straight comfort and soul. Her escondidinho de carne seca com mandioca had everyone low-key closing their eyes with the first bite — layers of tender, salty carne seca wrapped in that smooth, buttery mandioca mash. Pure warmth. No notes.
And don’t get us started on dessert. That chocolate stout cake? Moist, rich, with just the right bitter-sweetness — a dessert you feel. The kind of slice that makes you consider texting your ex and thanking them just for existing. (We didn’t. But still.)
Then… Arrabbiosa stepped in and flipped the room. A full-on Brazilian funk throwdown, front to back. All the classics. All the energy. Think sweat, hips, nostalgia, and bass. You know that moment when the crowd stops talking and just moves? Yeah. That.
